Welcome to The Vale Academy Nursery
Our school nursery is centred around the children, their interests and developmental needs. No day is the same!
Here at The Vale Academy Nursery, we place children at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that they are safe, happy and are developing a love for learning which will stay with them for the whole of their educational journey.
A high quality nursery education is about much more than colours and shapes, numbers and letters! We strongly believe it should also encompass the following:
- Encouraging children to be independent, confident, strong and curious
- Developing a child's natural joy and wonder at the world they live in
- Creating a positive and resilient attitude, forming meaningful relationships and having self-belief
- Providing a safe environment, encouraging children to 'have a go' and learn from mistakes, helping them problem solve and succeed in their future learning
We offer a 'play-based' curriculum, encouraging children to learn by getting involved and doing it themselves. Through carefully planned activities and a thoughtfully set out environment, children are inspired to explore, investigate, create and communicate, supported by our intuitive team of nursery practitioners.
In addition to this, we recognise that all children develop at their own pace and so we ensure that our learning opportunities are tailored to meet their individual needs.
